The seat of Kane County, Geneva enjoys a scenic, small-town environment marked by charming older homes, hilly tree-lined streets, handsome old government buildings and superb shopping and dining sites overlooking the Fox River.
Transportation
Rail service to the Loop is available via Metra’s Chicago and Northwestern train line, terminating at the Geneva station. Illinois Route 31 connects drivers with the East-West Tollway (I-88). The Northwest Tollway (I-90) is accessible via Farnsworth Avenue.
Schools
Unit District 304 comprises three elementary schools, a junior high and Geneva Community High School. A catholic grade school also serves the community.
